Family and Kid’s Activities
Entertainment at the festival includes activities for the entire family.
This page highlights some of the kid-centered options at the festival. Other ways for children and youth to get some action will be face painting, games, and activities at booths!
Oleika Shriners Engineer Train
The ever popular Train has been at the festival every year of the festival.
Conductors will board riders at the “train station” in front of Colonial Hotel (former CitizenVoice & Times), 108 South Court Street, Irvine.
Their hours of operation will be Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $3 over 2 years of age. Two and under are free with adults. Shriner’s patients ride free.
Inflatables
Located at the Courthouse Annex lot on Court Street, the inflatable area will include a variety such as the Bounce House, Slide, and an Obstacle Course. Costs vary.
Petting Zoo
A petting zoo will be set up with a variety of animals (baby camel, miniature horse, pygmy goats, sheep, zebra, and miniature highland cows.) Feed cups will be available to buy feed to give to the animals. Other ways for children and youth to get some action will be face painting, games, and activities at booths.
